  • English-language reports with permanent links, source records, data periods and visible limitations.
  • Topic selection and search. Your topic and narrator preferences stay on your device.
  • Full-edition and topic RSS feeds. Share or copy a feed without creating an account.
  • A source desk linking directly to official weather, USD/DOP reference rates and national releases. Automated reuse is paused while exact-resource permissions are unresolved; your browser no longer fetches those feeds directly.

What “refresh” means here

The live desk and the editorial edition are different. A new source check does not make an old report new. Every report keeps its original publication time and data period.

The reader checks for a new edition every five minutes while the page is visible and offers an update without moving your reading position. Cloud intake is scheduled for 04:45 AST. Release checks run every 15 minutes, with a morning publication target of 06:30 AST. Only an already approved, rights-cleared edition can advance the public record.

The founding beta remains a dated archive until the first cloud edition is released. After that switch, an outage or withdrawal never silently restores the old edition. Source-permission holds still prevent new collection. The live check above reports the actual scheduler results.

The front page and eligible reports have a Device voice Play/Pause button. It reads published text using an installed English voice, with a floating controller, speed and voice choices, transcript, and previous/next story controls. No NULLPEN model API is called. This is not Reader 01 or Reader 02. Keep the page visible; browser and lock-screen support vary.

  • Current-edition male and female house recordings. Device read-aloud is a separate option, not proof that these branded recordings exist.
  • Automatic edition publication, daily social videos and email delivery. No social account connection or successful send is implied.
  • Company and publication formalities, rights clearance and verified legal/privacy contact details. Nothing here represents a completed registration, counsel approval or blanket reuse licence.
  • Advertising orders, accounts and payment processing remain closed.

Corrections are part of the product

Two historical reports—air-passenger arrivals and southern-grid losses—are under review. Their disputed claims are excluded from front-page recommendations, RSS and new recaps. Original pages retain prominent notices. The complete-edition API is held to prevent uncorrected downstream copies.

No model call just to read the news

Page views, topic filtering, text-brief assembly, RSS and the scheduled collection foundation do not call a language model. Artwork is generated or drawn once and reused. New voice recordings and future production work can have separate provider costs; they are not charged per listener by an on-demand generation endpoint.
