Faridabad: Sarvodaya Hospital announced on Thursday that it has partnered with the Oncidium Foundation, a global leader in advancing radio theranostics for cancer treatment.
This collaboration would make Sarvodaya Healthcare the first in India to offer sponsored access to advanced nuclear therapy for underprivileged cancer patients, stated the release. By leveraging Radio Theranostics, this initiative provides targeted, precise cancer treatment, improving outcomes for patients.
Radiotheranostics is a cutting-edge approach to cancer treatment that combines diagnostic imaging with targeted radiation therapy. This allows for precise identification and treatment of cancer cells, minimizing damage to healthy tissue.
Three patients—two from India and one from Bangladesh—have already benefitted, with many more expected to receive life-changing treatment in the coming months.
