Statement by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni

I firmly condemn the Houthi attacks on the airport in Riyadh. My thoughts are with Saudi Arabia and the families of the victims, and I wish a speedy recovery to those injured. Attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable and must stop. Italy will continue to work with its partners in the region to reduce tensions and foster stability and freedom of navigation in the area. [ Courtesy translation ]
