President Meloni expresses her closeness to the Holy Father

I wish to express my personal closeness and that of the Italian Government to the Holy Father for the trial he is called upon to face in the coming days. The composure and tranquillity with which he spoke about it during today’s Angelus reassure us. I am certain that the Italian people will not fail to also show their support and affection.
