Lucknow: Persistent mouth sores, unexplained pain or numbness, white or red patches, difficulty swallowing, or lumps in the oral cavity should not be ignored, as they could be early signs of oral cancer, said experts at Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) during a continuing medical education (CME) session on Thursday.
