Current Hilton Amex credit card welcome bonus offers

Hilton Honors and American Express are offering some excellent welcome bonuses on their cobranded credit cards.

Currently, the four Amex Hilton credit cards — three personal cards and one business one — are offering elevated welcome bonuses. They include the opportunity to earn a large number of Hilton Honors points to redeem for stays with the hotel chain.

This is a great time to apply for any of the four cards, as the current bonuses meet our threshold for when to apply. And if you can maximize the free night certificate on the first two cards, these become potentially the highest offers we’ve ever seen on these cards.

You can redeem a free night certificate for a standard room at nearly any participating Hilton Honors property, though there are a few exceptions.

These offers end on April 29.

Let’s look at the current elevated bonuses on these Hilton credit cards.

Hilton Honors American Express Card

The Hilton Honors American Express Card is the simple, no-annual-fee card that offers entry-level benefits.

Current welcome offer

Earn 70,000 bonus points and a free night reward after spending $2,000 on purchases in your first six months of card membership. Offer ends April 29.

THE POINTS GUY

According to TPG’s February 2025 valuations, the bonus points are worth $420.

Depending on how you use your earnings, this could be considered the best-ever offer on the regular Hilton Amex card. While the points-earning alone is not the highest we have seen on this card, the addition of a free night reward creates more value — especially for a card that does not charge an annual fee.

Additional benefits

With this card, you’ll earn:

  • 7 points per dollar spent directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio
  • 5 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases on dining at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets and U.S. gas stations
  • 3 points per dollar on all other eligible purchases
  • Terms apply

This entry-level card also offers:

  • Automatic Hilton Honors Silver status
  • A path to upgrade to Gold status when you spend $20,000 on eligible purchases in a calendar year
  • No foreign transaction fees (see rates and fees) — also a rarity for a card with no annual fee
  • Enrollment is required for select benefits

Bottom line

The points haul on these cards could lead to some amazing Hilton redemptions, including luxury stays at resorts like the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa or ski-friendly destinations like the Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge.
