Amex Platinum
The Platinum Card® from American Express offers numerous statement credits to its cardmembers, including up to $240 each calendar year in digital entertainment statement credits. Enrollment is required; terms apply.
Streaming benefit: Up to $20 per month in digital entertainment statement credits (up to $240 in statement credits each calendar year). The credits can be used so long as you pay the following merchants directly and on a monthly basis:
- Disney+
- ESPN+
- Hulu
- The Disney Bundle (includes all three services above or a combination thereof)
- Peacock
- The New York Times
- The Wall Street Journal
You’ll pay first and then receive reimbursement within two days, on average. Enrollment is required, and terms apply.

Amex Blue Cash Everyday
The Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express is a great option if you’re looking for a solid cash-back card that can help cover your streaming expenses.
Streaming benefit: Up to $7 back each month as a statement credit (up to $84 back per calendar year) after spending $9.99 or more each month on an eligible Disney Bundle subscription using your card (subject to auto-renewal; enrollment required in advance; terms apply).
Earning rate on streaming: 1% cash back (cash back is received in the form of Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit or at Amazon.com checkout)

Amex Blue Cash Preferred
Cash back fans looking for a more robust card than the Blue Cash Everyday will appreciate the Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express.
Streaming benefit: Up to $7 back each month as a statement credit (up to $84 back per calendar year) after spending $9.99 or more each month on an eligible Disney Bundle subscription using your card (subject to auto-renewal; enrollment required in advance; terms apply).
Earning rate on streaming: 6% cash back on select U.S. streaming services (cash back is received in the form of Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit or at Amazon.com checkout)

U.S. Bank Altitude Go
U.S. Bank offers several valuable credit card products, including the U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa Signature® Card.
Streaming benefit: A $15 statement credit after paying for an eligible streaming charge with your card each month for 11 months in a row. However, note that this works out to just $1.36 per month, so it is not significant.
That said, this card doesn’t have an annual fee, so you don’t need to worry about getting significant value from it year after year.
Earning rate on streaming: 2 points per dollar

Check the merchant offers on your cards
In addition to using these cards for streaming, make sure to check the merchant offers for all your cards regularly. Chase and American Express often have offers to help you save on specific streaming services, such as Fubo, Max, Showtime and YouTube TV.
To take advantage of these offers, add them to your card and then charge that streaming service to the card with the offer.

If you’re a big fan of streaming services like we are, opening a card that provides a streaming credit makes sense. No matter how you stream, there’s a credit card perk on this list that can help you save on your subscription.
But before you apply for a card, make sure that the benefits it provides make it worth the annual fee (if one is charged).
