ISPT’s $40 million overhaul of Perth’s Enex is set to be complete in Autumn, paving the way for global miner South32 to move into the building.
The superannuation fund today released more details about the redevelopment of the 100 St Georges Terrace building, which it describes as an urban-commercial village.
The redevelopment focuses on the installation of a new food court on the second level of the building and condensing the retail assets from three floors to two.
ADCO Constructions is currently undertaking the build, which was initially mean to be finished in early 2025.
Food and beverage outlets Soul Origin, Hi Thai and Mi Shanghai will return to the venue, and The Cutting Board and CP Curry House will move into the food court.
More than 30 retailers are expected to occupy Enex, with Gorman, Aesop and Decjuba already there.

Business News revealed in 2023 that South32 would move from its existing Perth headquarters at 108 St Georges Terrace to Enex as its lease expires this year.
The global miner is expected to occupy more than 5,000 square metres at Enex, following ISPT’s conversion of the level three retail floor to offices.
South32 is expected to move into the building later this year.
ISPT head of property Amanda Steele said the redevelopment would mark the return of an all-in-one retail, fashion and hospitality hub to the centre of the city.
“Enex will offer office workers, visitors and city dwellers a place to shop, meet, dine and relax all under one roof — which is something that has been missing in the heart of Perth CBD.
“We have no doubt this development will add to the excitement of Perth CBD’s emerging dining and shopping precinct,” said Amanda.
