Lucknow: More than 13 crore patients benefited from the Mukhyamantri Arogya Swasthya Melas, said an official spokesperson here on Monday. In these health fairs, the state govt offers free consultations, diagnostic tests, treatment and medicines, which are becoming increasingly popular. Citizens from all walks of life avail themselves of various medical services through these accessible and efficient platforms.
Free diagnostic facilities are available across all districts, including advanced tests like CT scans and X-rays. Over 35 lakh people already availed of these free diagnostic services. “The state govt launched free dialysis services in all 75 districts. So far, more than 30,000 patients received dialysis under this initiative. Given the high cost of dialysis in private healthcare, this scheme emerged as a lifeline for economically disadvantaged,” the spokesperson said.
